About David Weigelt

I live in Frederick, Maryland. I'm a husband, a father and a grandfather, and I've spent my career building and leading companies here.

I co-founded Immersion Active, a marketing agency, and helped lead it for 18 years. We implemented EOS ourselves, grew the business, and sold it to Home Instead in 2016.

Looking back, what made it work was the people. I was blessed to work beside high-performing leaders who shared our values. That's where I learned what shared values are worth.

I'm a Christian, and I believe my work since the sale is a calling: helping leaders build companies that honor God and serve people well. Since 2019 I've served as a Principal Chair with C12, leading peer advisory forums for Christian CEOs and owners in Maryland. I also host Leaders On Tap, a conversation series with Maryland business leaders, and I wrote Beyond the Multiple, a book about selling a company without regret.

In that work I meet gifted leaders who want a company worth their best work, and owners who need leaders they can trust. Introducing them is something I can do, so I do it. I don't charge for it. It's part of what I believe I've been sent to do.

You don't have to be a Christian to work with me, and I don't screen anyone on faith. What I listen for is shared values: calling, integrity, servant leadership, care for people and stewardship.
